Meet the FounderCERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner (CFP®) Enrolled Agent with the IRS (EA) Kerry started BeingFIT because she felt financial services for everyday families were lacking at best, filled with conflict of interest at worst, and more importantly missing the big picture. She knew she could do better and decided to create a modern financial services firm for people like you. Prior to BeingFIT, Kerry spent over 15 years working for large financial firms, specializing in retirement, investments, cash flow, insurance, business, estate, employee benefits, and tax. She served as a Financial Planning Consultant to financial advisors, where she created and reviewed thousands of financial plans for optimal strategies and integrity. Kerry also provided financial education and consulting to financial advisors located at various institutions across the country. Now Kerry focuses her energy on providing her clients with holistic financial planning and tax advice, and educating the public in areas such as strategies for tax allocation and investment strategy, equity compensation planning, and real estate investing. Kerry is also a fitness advocate and loves meeting new people and learning about their money stories and fitness journeys. Outside of her professional work, you may find Kerry enjoying life with her 14 year old daughter, camping or cruising in their Jeep, traveling to fun locations, at the hockey rink watching her daughter play, lifting weights, or practicing yoga. Kerry’s 5 top values in life are family, health, independence, honesty, and meaningful work.
